The video was recorded by the body camera worn by Master Patrol Officer Matt Stacy. It shows him responding to a call about the stolen SUV and turning into the entrance to Northwoods Elementary School. He stops his squad car when he sees the SUV coming toward him, opens the door, steps out and yells for the driver to stop.

The video shows the SUV speeding directly at him and his car as he fires two shots. It also shows the impact of the SUV smashing into his car and sending him flying. At a news conference Monday afternoon, Deputy Chief Mike Carter said Officer Stacy's plan was to stop his car and put out spikes to puncture the SUV's tires. Carter said Officer Stacy had three seconds after he stopped his car and stood up next to it to determine the SUV wasn't going to stop and that's when he decided to fire his gun at it.Officer Stacy fired twice, with one bullet hitting the SUV's hood and the other hitting his own car's windshield post.

Sand Springs Police also released video from cameras worn by other officers as they surround the wrecked Infiniti SUV trying to get the driver to surrender.An officer eventually climbed through the sun roof and tased the suspect, Stacy Ann Bunsey, 41, before he and the other officers arrested her.Somehow Officer Stacy avoided serious injury in the collision. He's been a Sand Springs police officer for almost five years.

Danke für die Info! So macht das immerhin schon etwas mehr Sinn. Zumindest der Anfang. Wobei ich es noch immer für fragwürdig bis unlogisch halte, auf ein Auto zu schießen, welches einen eh gleich trifft. Und wozu man eine rumschreiende Frau tasern muss, erschließt sich mir ebensowenig, wie der Gang übers Dach.
 
Ich muss die folgenden Beiträge mal ein wenig verteilen, sind irgendwie alle recht heftig und sollten nicht in einem einzigen Beitrag verbraten werden...

Ja. Das haben wir doch schon damals (1980?) alle von Franz Mersdonk in der ersten Folge von "Auf Achse" gelernt. Wenn es hinten brennt, nicht anhalten, sonst fackelt es alles ab.
 
Den ersten F3-Crash hatten wir trotzdem schon, darauf hatte ich Alfred doch gerade erst hingewiesen.
 
Kommt auf den Baum an. Es macht sicher einen Unterschied, ob es sich z.B. um eine Weiß-Eiche oder z.B. eine Schwarz-Erle handelt.
