THE DREG These relentless thieves seem driven by desperation and rage. They are crafty, but they usually give up their cover with their clattering and hissing. Most seem outfitted with some kind of shock dagger and pistol, and as far as we can gather, they seem to only have two arms, while other Fallen have four.	THE VANDAL The truths about the Fallen chain-of-command are still making themselves known, but Vandals appear to hold a higher ranking than the Dregs, and deadlier weapons, too. They often have long range capability, but, lucky for us, their weapons take time to charge.	THE CAPTAIN Fallen run in packs, led by an individual Captain. There is no denying a Captain's might; they are the fiercest of the Fallen. There is this sense of tattered nobility to them. You can see it in the way they carry themselves. They think they're better than us. They believe that Earth belongs to them.

THE Cabal It's been years since they first made their presence known at the Twilight Gap. While early reports have them centered on or around Mars, the true might of the Cabal is still wrapped in speculation. Awaiting more reports from the Vanguard.

Brave New Worlds – Destiny will instantly draw players into a universe of heroes and legends, with worlds and storytelling crafted by Bungie, the creators of Halo – one of the most beloved and critically acclaimed entertainment franchises of all time.


Your Legend - In Destiny you create your own legend as you and your friends venture out into the solar system to reclaim the treasures and secrets lost after the collapse of our Golden Age. Over the course of your adventures you become more powerful, able to wield rare and exotic weapons, gear, and powers.


A Connected Universe - Destiny is more than a disc in a drive, it is a persistent online universe filled with other players. As the story grows and expands over time, so do the destinations you can access, the activities you experience, and the rewards you can earn.


A Social Experience - Destiny’s many destinations will feature areas called Public Spaces where players journeying solo or with friends will seamlessly cross paths with other players and Fireteams, some on similar missions, others engaging in completely different activities.

• Public Events – Contained within some of Destiny’s public spaces are realtime dynamic events that players and Fireteams in the area can choose to engage in. These Public Events are short skirmishes where multiple players work together to defeat their common enemies and collect awesome loot.

Classes - Destiny features three unique classes to choose from, each with their own custom looks and abilities. Players will be able to crush their enemies as a Titan, vanquish foes as a crafty Hunter, or unleash incredible arcane energies on any adversary as a Warlock.

We’re not making a space sim where you're flying through the stars. We’re making a first person shooter. So the primary way you’ll get around the world is on foot as a first person shooter, then space travel is a cool way for you to customise your ship and get around.

You can see the ship when you arrive in public spaces and they sort of herald your arrival. You can upgrade them, but they’re also the way that you’re moving around in the story and they’re primarily that story vehicle to get you from Earth to the Moon, then Venus or Mars.

It’s a huge challenge to ship four platforms and a massive opportunity to reach a new audience. We know there are a lot of people out there asking for PC and we know that there are a lot of gamers that would willingly give us money, but what we have to do is make sure we’re focused enough to bring a good experience to any platform that we ship on. What we 100 percent are not going to do is spread ourselves so thin that it negatively harms the other platforms. So right now we have the four platforms, which is a lot to focus on.

We’ve not announced anything on the microtransaction front but our goal is to absolutely make sure that when we deliver a game for $60 that’s a great experience no matter what type of player you are. So we’re not looking at any pay-for-power type stuff. That’s what I hear as a player when people say they’re worried about models and schemes that nickel and dime people; we’re not going to do that.

Falls es wer nicht mitbekommen hat: bis Montag 28.07 9:00 Uhr läuft die open beta.

Ich lade es gerade auf der PS3, bin mal gespannt wie es ist.

Kommt ja nun in ein paar Tagen raus ...

Zumindest lief es flüssig bei mir. Grafik war halt PS3 Niveau. Wirklich enttäuscht bin ich von der lahmen Story und den Missionen. Fast alle Missionen aus der Beta liefen auf einen Arenakampf mit Gegnerwellen hinaus. Der Multiplayer und Coop ist ganz lustig. Aber alles im allen ist mir das keine 70 Euro wert. Schon gar nicht auf einen älteres System wie die PS3.

Ein Titel den ich gerne spielen würde...aber: Ballern und Controller - no way.
Ich würde es gerne können, schon allein wegen der Halo-Reihe. Die bleibt mir daher auch versagt :/

Das sind auch die beiden Punkte die mich wohl erstmal abhalten werden...

Einerseits die veraltete PS 3 Grafik und dazu ein Controller Shooter... auf PC oder eventuell sogar PS4 würde ichs mir wohl gönnen. Naja mal abwarten.

Spielt jemand Destiny? Bin recht enttäuscht muss ich sagen.
Habe die Alpha und Beta gespielt, fand diese eigentlich recht gut, aber natürlich gehofft das das volle Spiel etwas mehr abwechselung bietet.

Rund 12 Stunden und man hat das meiste gesehen.
Die AI ist immernoch richtig schlecht.
Das Mission Design bietet absolut keine Abwechselung, ständig das selbe. (Von A nach B laufen und alles abknallen)
Die Story ist auch ziemlich uninteressant.
Ich finde das Loot System recht langweilig.

Ehrlich gesagt glaube ich nichtmal das es von der Games Media gute Reviews bekommen wird.

Aber hey es gibt bestimmt jeden Monat ein neuen DLC für den man 10-15€ zahlen soll.

Ich hab die Beta gespielt und fand diese eigentlich recht gut, wenn ich auch kein großer Shooter-Fan bin. Zusammen mit einem Freund haben die Missionen eigentlich Spaß gemacht, aber selbst in der Beta hat es mir an Abwechslung gefehlt.
Du läufst zur Stelle auf der Karte, die dir angezeigt wird, dann gibt es ein paar Angriffswellen und einen Bossgegner. Ist dieser besiegt wirst du wieder zurückteleportiert. Die RPG-Elemente waren in Ordnung, kennt man ja aus Spielen wie Borderlands oder Mass Effect.

Kein Spiel, das ich mir kaufen würde, zumal ich eh keine PS4 besitze und die Technik auf der PS3 nichts besonderes ist (ist hübsch, aber vielen PS3-Spielen grafisch unterlegen).

Was ist denn daran so schlecht, wenn ich fragen darf? Ich bin kein Konsolen Spieler und habe das nur passiv mitgekriegt. Alle waren am reden das Destiny das "BEST GAME EVER!!! 1!1!1" werden wird, und jetzt lese ich nur von Enttäuschung.
Ich habe auch schon die ersten Threads zum Thema "Größte Enttäuschung 2014: Destiny vs. WATCH_DOGS" gesehen.

Man könnte meinen, dass die Marketing-Abteilung mehr gearbeitet hat als die Entwickler.

Wenn ein Spiel so lange so gehyped wird, muss es eine Enttäuschung werden. Es sei denn es heisst GTA, dann traut sich keiner etwas sagen, auch wenn es ebenfalls Kernschrott ist.

Ich bin bei Destiny mittlerweile Level 10 und es unterhält mich. Es kommt bei weitem vom Gameplay nicht an Wolfenstein ran, so rein vom Gefühl her. Was mir echt auf den Sack geht ist immer wieder die gleichen Schauplätze und Gebiete zu spielen. Ausserdem sieht sich alles ohnehin recht ähnlich. Das Ende des Levels ist dann immer -> Monsterhorde -> Uh ein Computer.. verteidige mich, während ich ihn untersuche -> Noch mehr Monsterhorden -> 20 Sekunden bis zum Levelende. Bei sowas einfallslosem könnt ich grad im Strahl kotzen. Aber vielleicht ist es nicht das, was das Spiel ausmacht. Bungie meinte auch die Raids gehen nur mit Leuten aus den Freundeslisten und dauern teils mehrere Stunden. Das ist ja super, weil nämlich alle 1430 Freunde aus meiner Liste genau dann Raiden (Konsole = Casual?!) wollen über Stunden. Ernsthaft: Da gehört ein Matchmaking her und nicht so ne beknackte Behauptung mit Randoms sind die Raids nicht schaffbar. Schwachsinn da. Der Schwierigkeitsgrad ist knackig.

Naja.. mal sehen was da noch so kommt.

Was ist an den 10 Jahren so besonders? Du kannst dich heutzutage ja noch bei Diablo 2 ins Battlenet einloggen WOW läuft ja auch schon ewig.

Ist eigentlich ein PC-Release geplant?

Das weiss man bisher nicht, so wird behauptet. Aber ich bin mir sicher, irgendwann wird es das sicher. Wieso sollte man das Geld auch verschenken? Ist ja bei GTA derzeit genau das gleiche Spielchen.
