    nach bereits längeren Planungen und Vorbereitungen sind wir nun von vBulletin auf Xenforo umgestiegen. Die Umstellung musste leider aufgrund der Serverprobleme der letzten Tage notgedrungen vorverlegt werden. Das neue Forum ist soweit voll funktionsfähig, allerdings sind noch nicht alle der gewohnten Funktionen vorhanden. Nach Möglichkeit werden wir sie in den nächsten Wochen nachrüsten. Dafür sollte es nun einige der Probleme lösen, die wir in den letzten Tagen, Wochen und Monaten hatten. Auch der Server ist nun potenter als bei unserem alten Hoster, wodurch wir nun langfristig den Tank mit Bytes vollgetankt haben.

    Anfangs mag die neue Boardsoftware etwas ungewohnt sein, aber man findet sich recht schnell ein. Wir wissen, dass ihr alle Gewohnheitstiere seid, aber gebt dem neuen Board eine Chance.
    Sollte etwas der neuen oder auch gewohnten Funktionen unklar sein, könnt ihr den "Wo issn da der Button zu"-Thread im Feedback nutzen. Bugs meldet ihr bitte im Bugtracker, es wird sicher welche geben die uns noch nicht aufgefallen sind. Ich werde das dann versuchen, halbwegs im Startbeitrag übersichtlich zu halten, was an Arbeit noch aussteht.

    Neu ist, dass die Boardsoftware deutlich besser für Mobiltelefone und diverse Endgeräte geeignet ist und nun auch im mobilen Style alle Funktionen verfügbar sind. Am Desktop findet ihr oben rechts sowohl den Umschalter zwischen hellem und dunklem Style. Am Handy ist der Hell-/Dunkelschalter am Ende der Seite. Damit sollte zukünftig jeder sein Board so konfigurieren können, wie es ihm am liebsten ist.


    Die restlichen Funktionen sollten eigentlich soweit wie gewohnt funktionieren. Einfach mal ein wenig damit spielen oder bei Unklarheiten im Thread nachfragen. Viel Spaß im ngb 2.0.

Hey, wollte winrar installieren - dabei hat Kaspersky IS 2015 Alarm geschlagen - soweit konnte fast alles entfernt werden, jedoch ist "Download Protect 2.2.8." noch in den Chrome Addons und lässt sich da nicht raus lösen.
Habe Malware Fighter von IObit, Kaspersky in der Vollständigen Untersuchung und AdAware drüber laufen lassen. Leider wird Download Protect nicht als bedrohung erkannt.
Durch googlen fand ich keine für mich funktionierende Lösung und die Sufu hat hier irgendwie auch nichts raus geworfen.Download Protect kann man nicht über den Browser deinstallieren und auch nicht deaktivieren.

Scheint eine ziemlich neue Malware zu sein. Selbst wenn eine Entfernung möglich wäre, kannst du nicht sicher sein, ob im Hintergrund noch Malware aktiv ist. Du wirst um einen Neuinstallation nicht herum kommen.

Zu 'download protect 2.* entfernen' finden sich schon ein paar Ergebnisse bei handelsüblichen Suchmaschinen. Was ich vorhin beim Querlesen fand, klang zwar nach einem recht aggressiven Browser Hijacker, aber ich würde hier noch davon ausgehen, dass man es nach der Benutzung von "AdwCleaner" und "JRT" los ist, ohne davor nachgeladene Software befürchten zu müssen. Da in den zu findenden Anleitungen aber zusätzlich systemspezifische Skripte genutzt wurden, mag es auch sein, dass man noch etwas mehr machen muss. Ich hab nur gerade nicht wirklich den Nerv, mir das genauer anzusehen. Das dritte dort immer wieder genutzte Tool "FSRT" ist mir unbekannt.

Zur Not kann man auch noch "Malwarebytes Anti-Malware" drüber schicken. Aber in der Regel finden "AdwCleaner" und "JRT" schon den größten Mist, den man sich hinsichtlich Adware, PUP/LPI, Toolbars und Hijacker einfangen kann.

Google hat mittlerweile übrigens selbst auch ein Tool zur Verfügung gestellt, um den Chrome Browser von ungewolltem Müll zu bereinigen, nennt sich:
"Tool zum Entfernen schädlicher Software" (Beta)

Nun ja, zwischen Adware und Malware ist doch noch ein kleiner Unterschied, dafür gleich neu aufsetzen?

Naja in beiden Fällen könnte Code nachgeladen worden sein. Mit viel Glück wird dieser vom Virenscanner erkannt, mit etwas Pech erst in zwei Wochen und im worst case gar nicht. Das kein Code nachgeladen wurde, wird man wohl schwer beweisen können. Von daher würde ich bei einer Kompromittierung immer neu aufsetzen.

Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob sich der Mist mit einem Standardreparaturwerkzeug/ Cleaner entfernen lässt. Beachtet, dass die Installation als "Unternehmensrichtlinie" deklariert wird. Ich könnte mir gut vorstellen, dass die Unternehmensumgebung so konzipiert wurde, dass der Anwender durchaus in einer Art Jail sitzt, in dem er nicht mehr so trivial Änderungen an der Konfiguration durchführen kann. Das müsste man sich sicher etwas genauer anschauen. Die Lösungen, ältere Versionen zu entfernen sehen auch schon nicht mehr ganz so trivial aus und ich befürchte, dass es bei der neueren Version nicht besser geworden ist, sondern eher schlimmer.

Von wo hast du WinRar geladen? Von der Herstellerseite, von einem Downloadportal oder aus illegalen Quellen?

Weiß jemand zufällig, welches Unternehmen hinter Download Protect steckt? Ein solches Verhalten könnte man sicherlich bereits als Computersabotage werten.


Ich würde auch eher dazu tendieren, das System neu aufzusetzen. Wer weiß, was die Software noch so alles manipuliert hat.
Nicht selten kommt es vor, dass zusätzlich zu eingeschleustem Code Manipulationen durchgeführt werden, die man nicht so einfach entdecken kann.
Dazu gehört etwa, dass Drittanbieterzertifikate auf dem System installiert werden. (Den Weg gehen übrigens auch einige Antiviren-Hersteller, um lokale Proxys einrichten zu können über die HTTPs-Traffic analysiert werden kann, ohne dass der Anwender Zertifikat-Missmatches erkennt.)

In irgendeinem Forum (Trojaner-Board) hatte ich gelesen, dass sich ein User diese Malware (ja ich nenne es so) über Freeware.de eingefangen hat. Diese Seite nutzt, wie heute üblich auf so mistigen Portalen, eine Setuproutine die Adware ausliefert. Das Mistding nennt sich dort "Security Utility" das vor "Sicherheitsrisiken schützt, während Sie im Internet surfen". :rolleyes:



Liest man dann die EULA (ich weiß, macht keine Sau), kommen die wahren Absichten zu Tage:

Ob jetzt das die selbe Ad-Malware ist kann ich nicht sagen. Habe das Ding nicht mal in der Sandbox zu Ende ausgeführt.
Leider wird es immer mehr zur Praxis, solche Adware den Usern unter zu jubeln. In dem oben aufgezeigten Fall halte ich es schon fast für arglistige Täuschung.

Wäre eine Idee für einen Thread, solche Portale zu benennen, dass User Abstand davon nehmen ihre Software von dort zu laden. Der TS kann durchaus Winrar von so einer Seite geladen haben.

Deshalb fragen wir doch, woher er die Software hat.
In meinen Augen ist es auch Malware. Die Software führt ungefragt ungewollte Änderungen am System durch und manipuliert selbiges, um sich vor einer Deinstallation durch den Administrator des Systems zu schützen. Zusätzlich gibt sie sich als etwas aus, das sie nicht ist. Ich wüsste nicht, worin der Unterschied zu klassischer Malware, wie einem Virus oder Trojaner, bestehen sollte.

Ich würde sogar sagen, man sollte solche Download-Portale grundsätzlich nicht nutzen. Jede Software wird über eine offizielle Herstellerseite vertrieben oder der Hersteller verlinkt auf ein bestimmtes Download-Portal, wo die Software von diesem selbst zur Verfügung gestellt wird. Nur dann würde ich ein Download-Portal nutzen. Die Software sollte natürlich auch generell vertrauenswürdig sein. (Lässt sich schnell über die Suchmaschine herausfinden...)

Wie immer: Vorsicht ist besser als Nachsicht, auch im Internet. ;)

Wen man so ein lästiges "etwas" im System hat, ist es demjenigen recht egal, ob es Mailware, Adware, Virus, Trojaner or whatever ist. Dann will man es nur noch loswerden.
Beim Querlesen der Treffer in "Handelsüblichen Suchmaschinen" - ich kenne übrigens keine die nicht für jeden frei zugänglich übers Internet zu erreichen wären - habe ich Hinweise auf Browserspezifisches Vorgehen für IE / FireFox oder AdAware / CCLeaner + rumfummeln an der Registry oder Hinweise gefunden, dass Vorgehensweisen mit früheren Versionen nicht mehr funktionieren.

Wenn man "mal eben" ein winrar oder anderes standarttool benötigt, das es eigentlich an jeder Ecke gibt, dann denkt man, besonders im halbschlaf nicht über die richtige Vorgehensweise nach, über den Anbieter zu gehen und wenn der nicht im Kopf bekannt ist erstmal dannach zu suchen. Da werden alle wohlbekannten Ratschläge ausgeblendet, ebenso wie das Bewustsein, dass man sich damit auch schnell mal etwas unerwünschtes einfängt.

Ich hatte gehofft, das jemandem evtl. ein removal tool bekannt ist das zuverlässig funktioniert - wenn ich nicht um eine Neuinstallation herum komme ... was solls - ist jetzt auch egal. Hab ich ja erst letztes Wochenende neu aufgesetzt, kann nicht viel Kaputt gehen. Ist ja meine eigene Dummheit. smi20.gif

Software läd man immer am besten vom Hersteller, und nicht über eine Drittanbieterseite. Und gerade WinRAR ist unter WinRAR.com doch eigentlich schnell erreichbar.

Schon ne Systemwiederherstellung versucht? Auf einem Zeitpunkt vor der Installation?

AdwCleaner = wirkungsvoll
JRT = entfernt noch was mehr auch gewollte "tools" hinterlässt aber spuren wie tote links oder registry einträge.

Ist die Ad-Malware weg - ja , danke

Nach einem download von Softtonic (nie wieder) hatte ich sowohl in firefox als auch in chrome das
Add on "Download protect 2.2.8" mir eingefangen. In vielen Foren wurde dargelegt,
dass das Löschen des Unterschlüssels "Extensions" bei firefox und das Löschen des Unterschlüssels
"ExtensionInstallForcelist" bei chrome in der Registry das Problem behebt, jedoch nur bis zum
nächsten Neustart, da war alles wieder da. (Hinweis : xpi Dateien, windowsinstaller..).

Überprüfen Sie nach einem Neustart die Registry bei:
chrome:
regjump HKLM\Software\Policies\Google\Chrome\ExtensionInstallForcelist
regjump HKLM\software\Wow6432Node\Policies\Google\Chrome\ExtensionInstallForcelist

firefox:
regjump HKCU\Software\Mozilla\Firefox\Extensions
regjump HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Mozilla\Firefox\Extensions

(Hinweis für regjump: regjump.exe auf D: kopieren, dann Start Cmd, dann D:, dann
regjump HKLM… rechte Maustaste Kopieren, dann rechte Maustaste Einfügen, dann Enter.
Nicht CTRL C oder CTRL V)

Ist Extensions oder ExtensionInstallForcelist vorhanden, ist der Übeltäter aktiv.

Beim Starten des PC's werden über Autostart, Registry (Run, Run Once …) und Dienste
Programme gestartet. Autostart und Registry wären zu offensichtlich, also bleiben
nur die Dienste, (Start Dienste) denn kaum ein normaler Benutzer traut sich an diese
Dienste ran.

so können Sie vorgehen:
Wenn Sie einen Laptop besitzen so vergleichen Sie die Liste der Dienste, merken Sie sich den
Unterschied.

Lesen Sie die Beschreibung der Dienste, wenn der Text unklar ist, merken Sie sich den Dienst.

Mit der rechten Maustaste auf den Dienst klicken, Sie sehen das Programm mit dem der Dienst
gestartet wird, ist dies "svchost.exe" so ist dies ein Programm des Systems und damit ok.

In meinen Fall fand ich den Dienst DnsBlockUpdateService ohne eine Beschreibung. Mit der
rechten Maustaste, Eigenschaften ist das dazugehörige Programm:
C:\Windows\system32\DnsBlockUpdateSvc.exe zu finden. Das Datum des Programmes stimmte mit
dem Download von Softtonic überein. Dies musste der Täter sein. Also den Dienst deaktiviert.

In der Registry die Unterschlüssel Extensions und ExtensionInstallForcelist gelöscht und den
PC neu gestartet und die Unterschlüssel, mit denen firefox oder chrome das Add on installiert
haben waren nicht mehr vorhanden, also ist der PC clean.

Nun zur Desinfektion des PC`s
Löschen Sie noch keine Dateien, sondern benennen Sie sie um:
Bsp: C:\Windows\system32\DnsBlockUpdateSvc.exeabc

Im gleichen Verzeichnis System32 sind mit dem gleichen Datum noch zu finden:
dns.Block
DnsBlockA.dll
DnsBlockB.dll
Diese Dateien ebenfalls umbenennen.

nun zu:

regjump HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\
und den Dienst DnsBlockUpdateSvc ebenfalls umbenennen.

Löschen Sie nun die Unterschlüssel Extensions und ExtensionInstallForcelist und starten
Sie den PC neu.
Wenn alles ok ist, können alle umbenannten Dateien und der Dienst gelöscht werden.

In einer neuen Version des Add on werden wahrscheinlich wieder andere Dateinamen und
Dienstnamen verwendet werden.
Ich konnte aber nicht herausfinden welchen Schaden das Add on anrichtet oder angerichtet hat.

Hallo Da GuRu,
wenn solche Adware über Dienste gestartet wird hilft kein Clean-Programm,
da beim nächsten PC Start der Schrott wieder da ist.
Am besten bei einem fehlerfreien PC eine Liste der Dienste speichern,
dann kann im Problemfall verglichen werden.

Hallo,

weiß jemand, welches Programm man sich herunterladen muss, damit man DownloadProtect auf den Rechner bekommt?

Ich würde gerne mein kleines Tool DownloadProtectCleaner verbessern.

Die genannten Dienste, Dateien, etc. sind bereits in der Datenbank, Dienste kann man grundsätzlich auch mit Tools löschen roger.

Hallo M_K_D_B
soweit ich noch weiß habe ich Adope Flash Player 18 NPAPI von Softonic heruntergeladen. Nach der Installation hatte ich download protect 2.2.8.
Aktuell ist die version 2.2.11, mehr Info hab ich aber zur Zeit noch nicht.
die Idee mit dem Tool find ich gut.
