General
PokeMMO no longer depends on English ROM files.
Players may now use French/Spanish/German/Italian/ FireRed/Emerald ROM files while playing PokeMMO.
Added FR/ES client translations.
Added various utils to assist with translating into unsupported languages

Links are co-operative player parties which allow two players to participate in PvE instances in a 2v2 setting.
Out of Battle abilities:
Only one Out of Battle Ability may be active at a time. The active OoB Ability can be seen in the upper-left corner of your HUD.

Pickup
Pickup is an ability which gives a small chance for the lead party member to pick up a random item.
Items obtained through Pickup depend on the map the player was training in.
Pickup will only occur during wild encounters, and can not occur during scripted events or Old Rod / Good Rod fishing.
For this update, Pickup is limited to FireRed areas.
Pickup can not occur if the lead party member is fainted at the start of a battle.
Synchronize: The Nature of a wild encounter will have a flat 15% chance to match your lead's.
White Smoke / Stench: Encounters are reduced by a flat 10%.
Illuminate / Arena Trap / Swarm: Encounters are increased by a flat 10%.
Magma / Flame Body: Eggs will hatch at a 25% faster rate. Stacks with Donator Status multiplicatively.
Sticky Hold / Suction Cups: Fishing encounters are increased by a flat 25%.
Sand Veil: Encounters are reduced by a flat 25% while affected by Sandstorm overworld weather.
Hidden Power typing is now changeable.
Hidden Power adjustments allow players to arbitrarily decide a party member's Hidden Power, for a fee of 0-5 IVs (from each stat), a small amount of money, and a surgical tool.
Former hidden power diviner now handles hidden power changes in FireRed
Hidden Power TM-giver in Emerald handles hidden power changes in Emerald
Emerald NPC rematches.
Improved accuracy of GBA sound emulation.
TMs are now available in various marts around the world.
Newly caught species may now be released immediately after capture, for up to 60 seconds.
Added White Herb / Mental Herb / Shell Bell item effects.
Added various missing Secret Base items as Battle Point rewards.
Improved performance with rendering high amounts of character sprites at the same time.
GUI
Client mods are now manageable through a unified interface, accessible via the login screen.
Client mods are expected to be distributed in a .zip file which can be dropped into a mods folder of the client. Further details on this format can be found at

PNG/GIF may be used for image overrides.
Client items which may be overriden are
Item Icons / Battle Sprites (and positioning tables) / Party member icons
Songs may be overridden with .midi files.
Conflicts are resolved through load orders, where the last file loaded takes priority over the former files. This is displayed in the Mod Management UI from Top->Bottom
PC UI:
Added Multi-Selection to the PC window.
Multi-select is accessible through Shift+Left-Click and allows players to release or move multiple species at the same time.
Other hotkeys for the PC window have been updated to use different keys.
Added PC search functionality.
Searches can include terms for Species, Nickname, Ability, and Held Item with additional terms used to narrow results.
Added breeding preview UI:
The breeding preview UI shows what the expected child of a parent combination will be.
This includes Moves, IVs, and Natures with brief explanations of why a child will inherit each stat or move.
Added Client Management UI:
When PokeMMO starts with no ROMs loaded, the client will now prompt for you to find a FireRed/Emerald/HGSS ROM from your filesystem.
Allows for various archive formats to be used instead of an extracted ROM file.
Also allows for arbitrary ROM file locations instead of requiring drop-in to roms/ folder.
The Login screen is prettier.
The Gift Shop is prettier.
Website Announcements are now visible on the Login screen.
IVs are now always shown, instead of being obscured based on Level.
Hidden Power typing is now always visible.
Items may now be linked in chat.
Added /r whisper reply command.
Use /r {TAB} to cycle through old usernames.
The opponent's party sprites will now be shown in the place of ball icons once the party member has entered the field.
Certain head icons will now display characters' appearances instead of generic male/female icons.
When Emerald is loaded, certain strings will now prefer Emerald's version over FireRed's (e.g. EV Berries')
PvP
Tournament Mode matches are now time-limited in a chess timer-style.
Players will have 3 minutes total to perform actions in their match.
Every turn, the player will gain 10 seconds against their timer.
If the timer expires, the player loses their match.
This timer only counts down during times when the player has control. It is not affected by animations.
Balancing
General
Held Item modifications in PvE Trainer battles now behave the same way as PvP battles (temporarily). Re-enabled held items on NPC trainers.
NPC parties in the Battle Frontier and Trainer Tower have been rebalanced with new builds.
Obedience levels rescaled to 15/25/30/40/50/60/70/80/100 respective to current region's badge count.
Pre-evolutions' moves within a species tree are now always available to the final evolution via the Move Relearner.
Egg Moves inherited by a child are now always available from the Move Relearner. This does not apply to children created before this update.

Notes
Players are rewarded for their performance in the Battle Frontier facilities;
BP payouts range between 10 - 250 BP per NPC and are dependent on your win streak.
Prematurely leaving the Battle Factory will result in a reset of your current win streak.
Players using IPS patches to modify their ROM files for modified sprites or language support may have issues from this patch onward. Please use the external modding tools to continue client mods.
